Trump will meet with Zelensky in Washington on Monday

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he had held several hours of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin the day before and that the summit had "gone very well". Although Mr. Trump had repeatedly stressed the ceasefire issue before the meeting, the two leaders did not reach a ceasefire agreement after the meeting. Then Zelensky posted that he planned to meet with Mr. Trump "to discuss all the details of ending the conflict". Mr. Trump said he had spoken by phone with Mr. Zelensky and other European leaders overnight and said on Truth Social that he was scheduled to meet with the Ukrainian leader in the Oval Office on Monday afternoon.
