On August 15th, Qubic announced that it had achieved more than 51% hash rate control on the Monero network, resulting in 6 blocks being reorganized and 60 blocks becoming orphans. Initial reports show that within two hours, Qubic mined 80% of the total blocks in Monero. During this period, about 750 XMR and 7 million XTM were mined. The last round of unsold Tari plus 7 million XTM, a total of 17.20 billion QUBIC was destroyed, with an average price of about 3200 QUBIC per billion, equivalent to about 55,000 US dollars. Computors and miners received a total of 62.20 billion QUBIC rewards, worth about 200,000 US dollars. The network max computing power reached 2.71 GH/s, accounting for 52% of the global Monero hashrate. A total of 5,506 Monero blocks were mined. The data shows that Qubic is currently earning almost four times as much as Monero for miners. 51% Monero experiment is still ongoing.
