SEC extends Solana ETF approval to October 16

The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) has extended the approval decision for the Bitwise Solana ETF and the 21Shares Core Solana ETF until October 16. The SEC said in its announcement that the move is to allow sufficient time to review the relevant proposals and the issues raised. Previously, Solana ETF applications, including Grayscale and Fidelity, have suffered similar delays, which has become the SEC's regular practice for processing crypto ETF proposals.
