133rd Ethereum ACDC Conference: Target to complete devnet in 7-10 days

Ethereum developers held the 133rd ACDC conference call. First, an overview of the latest research on the Ethereum protocol confirmation rules, then, Pectra update, a discussion around EIP-7547 and CFI status, decided to put it on hold for now. Release an update to the v1.5.0-alpha.1 specification. Update on the implementation of devnet-0: Most teams are progressing well, but there are some unexpected complexities, with the goal of completing devnet in 7-10 days.
Some reflection on the complexity, inclusion process, and scoping of the EIP. Next, EIP-7684 is introduced to reduce the "deposit front-loading" phenomenon. Teams are busy with the implementation of devnet-0, but can serve as a thread in the coming months to refine specific mitigation measures and formally propose the EIP.
Finally, to discuss PeeerDAS, the customer team has made progress on implementation, around open issues regarding the amount of regulation per data sample and the synchronization assumption of sampling ("track or not track"), agreeing that in the initial PeerDAS testnet, the customer can implement the tracking strategy that best suits them, as this is entirely a local decision. It is hoped to agree on a specific strategy in production, but at the moment there seems to be disagreement on the best approach.
In addition, the next ACDC will be cancelled due to the client team's busy participation in the interoperability event. The next ACDC will be held at 22:00 on May 30.
