On August 14th, Abits Group (NASDAQ: ABTS) today released its unaudited financial report for the first half of 2025. The report shows that despite the impact of bitcoin halving, the company's first-half mining operating profit reached $2.138 million, an increase of nearly 6% year-on-year. During the period, bitcoin production was 40.27, down from 61.53 in the same period last year, but benefited from the increase in the average bitcoin price to $95,843 and the contribution of the Memphis custody business, which partially offset the impact of production decline.
The Company recorded an operating loss before tax of $340,000 due to higher depreciation expense for new equipment and interest expense on loans related to investments in Memphis.
