Google's previous announcement in Google Play's "Cryptocurrency Exchange and Software Wallet Policy" suspected that it planned to ban unregistered non-custodial crypto wallets in many countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, starting in October, sparking market criticism. But the company later clarified on the X platform that non-custodial wallets are not covered by its restrictions, and will update the help center to make it clear. Google's new policy will take effect on October 29, mainly for custodial exchanges and software wallets that need to comply with regulations.
