L2 Network Mode, which is based on OP Stack, will release MODE, a governance token, on May 7. The total supply of the token is 10 billion, of which 5.5% is dedicated to the first of two user airdrops. The second airdrop will run from May 5 to September 6, at which time 500 million more tokens will be issued. 38% of MODE's supply is allocated to investors and core contributors, 27% to foundation coffers, and the remaining 35% to end users and developers.
Since its launch in January, Mode has amassed more than $500 million in TVL from 450,000 wallets.
