Nakamoto CEO David Bailey said he never believed that US President Donald Trump changed his stance on bitcoin (BTC) because he or his family could profit from cryptocurrencies.
In an interview, Bailey explicitly rejected suggestions that Mr. Trump had changed his stance on bitcoin in order to make money for himself. "Absolutely not," Bailey said in a nationally televised broadcast yesterday morning. "I don't think he embraced the industry to make himself rich," he stressed again. "I think he just saw the same potential as me."
Before his answer, analysis revealed that crypto-related businesses controlled by the Trump family had earned $765 million since September 2024.
