RWA platform OpenEden has partnered with The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY Mellon) to provide management and custody of the underlying assets for OpenEden's flagship tokenized U.S. Treasury product, TBILL.
The tie-up, announced on Wednesday by OpenEden, brings one of Wall Street's largest and oldest custodians into the growing market for tokenised Treasuries. TBILL is the first tokenised US Treasury fund to earn an "A" rating from Moody's and have assets managed by a global custodian, according to OpenEden.
