According to Golden Cai, according to official news, Base announced that it will launch Onchain Summer II, inviting builders, creators, brands and artists to participate in the creation. From June 3rd to the end of August, Base and its partners will offer more than 600 ETH ($2 million) in prizes, grants and gas credits. Interested users can submit projects for the opportunity to be showcased at Onchain Summer.
The Onchain Summer kicks off with a month-long online hackathon hosted by Base and its partners. Then in July and August, Coinbase will showcase everyday experiences that are easy to use.
Last August, Coinbase announced a series of Onchain Summer event brands, including Coca-Cola, Atari, OpenSea, Pixelmon, and Showtime. Max Branzburg, vice president of Coinbase, said that the theme of the Onchain Summer mint event will focus on art, music, gaming, and more.
