NYSE-listed digital asset custody and trading platform Bakkt released its quarterly financial and operating results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, in which it disclosed that the company's quarterly crypto services revenue reached $577.90 million, an increase of 13.3% year-on-year, and total operating expenses were $596.40 million, an increase of 12.1% year-on-year. In addition, the second quarter raised $75 million to strengthen the balance sheet and further advance the bitcoin financial strategy, acquired a Tokyo-listed company, and MarushoHotta launched Bakkt's Japan bitcoin financial strategy.
