Lawyers for Terraform Labs countered the SEC, saying most of the token sales took place outside the United States. The SEC cited Terraform's logo at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., as evidence that the company was seeking to enter the United States. According to multiple reports, Terraform signed a partnership agreement with the U.S. baseball team in February 2022.
