Dmitry Suslov, deputy director of the Center for Integrated European and International Studies at Russia's Higher School of Economics and a Valdai Club expert, told Sputnik news agency that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump could come up with plans for ceasefire conditions in Ukraine after their meeting in Alaska. "We should not expect to reach a ceasefire agreement now, but should focus on the ceasefire conditions agreed by Russia and the United States, and push for final negotiations to completely resolve the conflict," Suslov said. The plan could include the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic, while maintaining the existing demarcation line in Zaporozhye and Kherson regions as the final border, and the possible withdrawal of Russian troops from parts of Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
