Standard Chartered: Ethereum Treasury Company Investment Value Surpasses US Spot ETH ETF

Geoffrey Kendrick, head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered, said that Ethereum treasury companies have purchased about 1.6% of liquid ETH since June, the purchase speed is the same as that of ETH spot ETFs, and the market value to net assets ratio (NAV multiple) has returned to normal levels and remains above 1, indicating that it is "extremely valuable for investment". He pointed out that these companies are more attractive than US spot ETH ETFs because they can participate in pledge and DeFi operations. SharpLink Gaming (SBET) is one of the representatives of this field. Kendrick expects that ETH treasury companies may eventually hold 10% of liquid ETH, which will grow faster than Bitcoin treasury companies, reflecting the widespread acceptance of ETH as a corporate reserve asset.
