Nomura subsidiary Laser Digital has been awarded Dubai's first cryptocurrency over-the-counter options license

Laser Digital, a cryptocurrency trading subsidiary of Nomura Bank of Japan, has been awarded the first over-the-counter (OTC) cryptocurrency options limited license under the pilot framework of the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). Under the license, Laser Digital will become the first institution under the supervision of VARA to provide direct-to-customer over-the-counter cryptocurrency options services.
