Crypto infrastructure platform BounceBit is bringing Franklin Templeton's tokenized money market fund to its structured income platform, BB Prime, to combine U.S. Treasury yields with cryptocurrency funding and basis arbitrage strategies to create an innovative product called CeDeFi (a combination of centralized and decentralized finance).
The tokenized fund, part of the BENJI product family, will serve as collateral and a settlement tool in the investment strategy. In this way, investors can not only receive the underlying Treasury interest rate income, but also stack other income sources.
