According to Cointelegraph, the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued an advisory report naming 10 major cryptocurrency exchanges, including OKX, Bybit, KuCoin, Kraken, and others, as operating without the authorization of the country's new cryptocurrency regulations.
"These platforms are not licensed, registered or authorised by the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission to operate in the Philippines or solicit investments from the public," the alert said. It added: "Their actions are unauthorized and expose Filipino investors to significant risks."
