Bloomberg analyst: Since the launch of the spot bitcoin ETF, its volatility has dropped significantly and is now less than twice that of gold

Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, said in a social media post that volatility had fallen sharply since the spot bitcoin ETF was launched. 90-day rolling volatility fell below 40 for the first time, compared with more than 60 when the ETF was listed. For comparison, when combined with GLD data, bitcoin volatility is now less than twice that of gold, compared with more than three times in the past.
