Figure Technology Solutions of Mike Cagney, co-founder of SoFi, said on Monday that it had "confidentially" filed a registration statement with the US Securities Supervision Commission for a draft IPO and planned to list this year. The company said it had "not yet determined the number of shares to be issued and the price range".
Figure, a blockchain-native capital markets platform that describes itself as "the largest non-bank home equity lender in the US", recently merged with Figure Markets, which bid for the FTX lock-up Solana token.
Figure joins Grayscale, Bullish and BitGo as one of the crypto-related companies seeking IPO financing. "Although there are rumors, this time it is from me," Cagney confirmed in a post on X.
