OpenMind, a decentralized operating system for intelligent machines, announced the completion of a $20 million financing round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Digital Currency Group and Ribbit.
The start-up is understood to be working on a "hardware agnostic" operating system called FABRIC, designed to support "intelligent machines integrated into everyday life". The protocol provides a way for artificial intelligence-enabled robots to communicate and coordinate.
