Brian Armstrong, chief executive of Coinbase, said in a post on X. "There has been a huge response to our ad being banned from TV stations in the UK. If it can't be said, there must be some truth in it.
The call to update the system and improve society is not a political statement to any of the UK's political parties (although there are attempts to misrepresent it as such). Nor is it a UK-specific problem (we run ads with similar themes in the US). It is a message that the traditional financial system is not working for many people and that cryptocurrencies are a way to improve the status quo.
In the UK, there are still those who view cryptocurrencies as a gambling product (an outdated view), completely ignoring the true potential of crypto - to update and improve the financial system for all.

We welcome these attacks and any attempt to censor this message, because it will only spread it further. "
