The statue of Satoshi Nakamoto in Lugano, Switzerland was stolen today.
On October 25, 2024, the Swiss city of Lugano unveiled a statue commemorating Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, at Villa Ciani, an event hosted by Tether's Plan B initiative in partnership with the city of Lugano.
The statue was designed by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi and took 18 months to study and three months to build.
