Tether issued 6 billion additional USDT in July, increasing total circulation by $20 billion year-to-date

Tether issued a total of 6 billion additional USDT in July this year. Previously released the second quarter 2025 financial report. The report shows that as of June 30, 2025, the circulation of USDT exceeded 157 billion US dollars, an increase of 20 billion US dollars since the beginning of the year. According to the financial report, Tether's total holdings of US Treasury bonds reached 127 billion US dollars, including direct holdings of 105.50 billion US dollars and indirect holdings of 21.30 billion US dollars, an increase of about 8 billion US dollars from Quarter 1. The company achieved a net profit of 4.90 billion US dollars in the second quarter, and a total profit of 5.70 billion US dollars in the first half of 2025, of which recurring profits 3.10 billion US dollars.
