The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that its Crypto Task Force will visit multiple cities in the United States in the coming months to host a series of roundtables aimed at providing more crypto stakeholders with the opportunity to communicate directly with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce. The event specifically welcomes representatives of start-up crypto projects with fewer than 10 employees and less than two years of existence to participate, ensuring that regulatory policy development is more comprehensive and diverse. Commissioner Peirce expressed the hope to hear the voices of those who were not able to participate in this spring's Washington roundtable, emphasizing that the regulatory framework will have a profound impact on the industry. The SEC hopes to achieve a more comprehensive outreach effect through extensive communication. Project representatives interested in participating can submit an application via email, stating the team composition and project brief, and indicating the city they wish to participate in. The SEC plans to make public the list of participating projects to promote open and transparent dialogue and public participation. This series of roundtables is seen as a key move by the SEC to promote openness and inclusiveness in crypto regulatory policy.
