Strategist: Dollar hits two-month high, but weakness persists

The dollar held steady against a basket of currencies, rising to a two-month high overnight. UniCredit foreign exchange strategist Roberto Mialich said in a note that the reasons for the dollar's weakness for much of this year remain and will continue to pose risks. The factors behind the dollar's weakness so far, including U.S. policy, Federal Reserve interest rate cuts, and concerns about rising U.S. budget deficits and debt, remain. (Jin Ten)
