Standard Chartered plans to apply for a stablecoin license in Hong Kong

StanChart Hong Kong and chief executive of Greater China and North Asia, Huan Huiyi, said that StanChart is currently studying the relevant documents of stablecoin issuers and has planned and will submit the license application as soon as possible. Huan Huiyi said at a press conference on Thursday that StanChart has also participated in sandbox testing.
