Former FTX executive bought gold pocket watch for Titanic victims for nearly $1.50 million

On May 2nd, Patrick Gruhn, the former head of the European business of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, won a gold pocket watch that survived the sinking of the Titanic for 1.175 million pounds (about 1.50 million dollars) last Saturday, setting a record for the highest auction of Titanic-related cultural relics.
