According to the Hong Kong Government News Network, Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Hui Zhengyu, said at the Legislative Council meeting that the Hong Kong government has announced in the 2025-26 Budget that it will regularize the issuance of tokenized bonds, and the HKMA is currently preparing for the third issuance. After the relevant legislative work is completed, Hong Kong's regulatory framework will fully cover the major nodes of the digital asset industry, balance risk management and investor protection, and provide favorable conditions for market development and financial innovation.
