On July 30, 2025, the China-Cambodia-Thailand Trilateral Informal Meeting was held in Shanghai. Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong attended the meeting with representatives of Cambodia and Thailand. Cambodia and Thailand reaffirmed to China that they will abide by the ceasefire consensus and appreciated China's active role in calming down the situation so far.
