Daehong Communications, a subsidiary of South Korea's Lotte Group, announced the construction of a "Money Movement" blockchain ecosystem for the real economy based on Aptos. As one of the largest retail and business groups in South Korea, Lotte Group has operations in multiple fields, a large consumer network and market influence.
The collaboration will integrate the Aptos blockchain into Giftiel, a mobile voucher service operated by Daihiro subsidiary. Since the integration was completed in early July, Giftiel has more than 500,000 users holding vouchers on the Aptos chain, with a cumulative issuance of more than 1 million, enabling the whole process of vouchers from issuance, distribution to redemption, bringing higher transparency and more reliable data management capabilities.
