Glassnode: Ethereum perpetual contract unpositioned squaring volume reached a new high in the past two years

According to Glassnode data, the share of unpositioned squaring in Ethereum perpetual contracts has climbed to nearly 40%, the highest level since April 2023. This data has only seen higher readings on 5% of the trading days in history. As can be seen from the chart, the bitcoin price has been on an upward trend since March 2022, but funds are gradually shifting from bitcoin to the Ethereum market, indicating a clear shift in the focus of market speculation.
