Huatai Securities Research Report said that in the early morning of July 31st (Thursday) Beijing time, the Federal Reserve will announce the decision of the July interest rate meeting. Although Trump has repeatedly pressured Powell to cut interest rates since the June meeting, there are also members within the Federal Reserve who have asked for a rate cut in July. However, considering that the overall labor market has exceeded expectations and tariffs will gradually transmit to inflation in the future, it is expected that the Federal Reserve's July meeting will probably stay put; looking forward, Huatai Securities believes that the follow-up interest rate cut decision depends on the economic data in July-August. Maintaining a weaker job market will prompt the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates twice in September-December.
