US Treasury sharply raises third-quarter borrowing forecast

US Treasury: Due to the low cash level at the beginning of the quarter, the borrowing estimate for the third quarter is 453 billion US dollars higher than the forecast in April, and the borrowing size forecast for July-September is raised to 1.007 trillion US dollars. Net borrowing is expected to be 590 billion US dollars in October-December.
