The Arbitrum Foundation has announced that it will launch a cyber security audit subsidy program upon approval of the ArbitrumDAO proposal. The program will allocate 30 million ARB tokens (~ $14 million) over 12 months to fund smart contract security audits for blockchain projects built on the Arbitrum network.
The program is aimed at two types of projects: early-stage projects with product-market fit and mature projects with major upgrades planned. Projects use security audit firms from a list of pre-approved auditors to be announced this week.
