According to Slow Mist Cosine, a hacker group disguised recruitment and posted false job information on the V2EX platform to attract applicants through attractive benefits. The group induced the interviewees to develop pages based on their prepend malicious code repository as a project template.
Once the interviewee downloads and executes the relevant code, the computer will be implanted with malicious software, which may lead to the theft of cryptocurrency assets and various account permissions. This attack method exploits the applicant's trust in technical interviews to carry out cyber attacks through seemingly normal development tasks.
Job seekers should be vigilant when participating in technical interviews and avoid running code of unknown origin on personal devices. It is recommended to use a virtual machine or sandbox environment for testing.
