According to The Block, cryptocurrency mining company Bitzero has raised $25 million to expand its mining operations.
The company plans to use part of the funds to purchase 2,900 Bitmain S21 Pro miners. Bitzero said the highly efficient hardware will be deployed in four to six months and is expected to generate additional revenue of $10 million per year and further reduce the company's break-even point.
Company President and CEO Mohammed Bakhashwain said, "This new funding allows us to build on our success, accelerate the deployment of best-in-class mining technologies, and expand our leadership in sustainable, profitable data centers."
