Brazilian securitization firm VERT has launched a private credit platform on the XRP Ledger blockchain and completed its initial offering, successfully raising a certificate of agricultural receivables (CRA) 700 million Brazilian real (about $130 million), CoinDesk reported.
The platform aims to modernize Brazil's $200 billion private credit market, increase transaction transparency and traceability through blockchain technology, and provide investors and regulators with more reliable information.
