According to @martypartymusic, the Solana network yesterday increased the block size by 20% based on the SIMD-0256 proposal.
This upgrade increases the block cap from 50 million Compute Units (CUs) to 60 million CUs, enabling each block to accommodate more transactions, thus improving network throughput and overall performance, and users will experience a significant increase in transaction speed.
