Law firms Burwick Law and Wolf Popper have widened their case against Memecoin platform Pump.fun, naming the Solana Foundation, Solana Labs, Jito Labs and a number of their executives as "co-conspirators" and charging them with illegal gambling, wire fraud, securities fraud, intellectual property theft and the transfer of unlicensed funds. According to the indictment, the platform is suspected of operating a "casino-like" system, allowing criminal activities such as money laundering, terrorist financing and sex trafficking, and is also accused of assisting North Korean hacking group Lazarus in laundering $1.50 billion. Solana and Jito have not yet responded. The plaintiffs are demanding that all organizations and individuals involved in the "illegal crypto casino scheme" be held accountable.
