FTX announced that the next round of payments will begin on September 30, 2025, with a record date of August 15, 2025. Payments will include approved customer claims (Category 5), ordinary unsecured claims (Category 6) and convenience claims that did not participate in the previous round of payments.
Meanwhile, the US Bankruptcy Court approved FTX to cut its reserve for disputed claims from $6.50 billion to $4.30 billion, freeing up nearly $2 billion for payouts to be distributed through BitGo, Kraken and Payoneer.
FTX reminds customers of the risk of phishing, emphasizing that it will not require a wallet connection.
