White House: Trump does not support Musk's artificial intelligence company for federal contracts

White House press secretary Levitt said Wednesday that she doesn't think U.S. President Donald Trump supports federal agencies signing contracts with Musk's artificial intelligence companies. When asked if Trump wants to cancel a recent contract with Musk's artificial intelligence venture, Levitt said she will discuss the matter with the president. About a week ago, Musk's xAI was awarded contracts of up to $200 million by the Defense Department along with three other major tech companies. Trump and Musk have been in a bitter dispute since Musk stepped down as a special government employee at the end of May.
