Economists at Investec Economics said in a report that the Bank of England could cut interest rates two more times by the end of 2025, bringing the bank rate down to 3.75 percent, due to signs of weakness in the U.K. labor market. The latest U.K. labor market data showed the unemployment rate rose to 4.7 percent in the three months to May. "We still see the bank rate at 3.75 percent at the end of the year and 3.00 percent at the end of 2026," the institution's economists said.
