According to Yonhap News Agency, Lotte Card has applied for trademark rights related to 36 Korean won stablecoins, including brand names and codes. The applied trademarks include "WONBIT", "KTOKEN" and "LOCAMONEY".
The company said that the Korean won stablecoin will be widely used in transactions of high-value assets such as used cars, luxury goods, real estate, and gold in the future.
