A man in his 50s has been sentenced to five years in prison for stabbing a crypto company representative with a knife in court. The crypto company representative was tried for allegedly defrauding cryptoassets 1.40 trillion Korean won.
The assailant claimed that he believed his actions were justified because of the financial damage caused by his victims. However, the court held that such private sanctions could not be justified even in a public trial.
