Amazon (AMZN. O) has acquired Bee, a startup that makes a $50 wearable artificial intelligence assistant. The San Francisco startup's co-founder, Lourdes Zorro, announced the acquisition in a brief post on LinkedIn. Bee has developed a bracelet that records and transcribes a user's activity, using the information to generate to-do lists and summarize conversations. Amazon spokeswoman Alexandra Miller said all of Bee's employees were invited to join Amazon as part of the agreement.
