US financial media reporters quoted sources as saying that Powell's resignation letter circulated on some MAGA accounts was fake. Some netizens also pointed out that the traces of the letter being forged with AI are obvious, especially the seal of the Federal Reserve. Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, said: "I believe Powell will resign soon, but today is not that day."
