5月1日讯，当地时间5月1日，以色列陆军广播电台发布消息称，以军计划在加沙地带建立一个新的“安全区”，为可能在拉法开展的行动做准备。消息表示，新区域将位于努赛赖特和布赖杰的郊区，靠近内察里姆走廊。此外，目前靠近马瓦西的安置区域也将向东扩展到汗尤尼斯。
