According to on-chain data analyst Ember, a whale address that has held BTC for 12 years transferred 250 BTC (about $29.68 million) to Binance 1 hour ago. The whale address received and hoarded 5,000 BTC (about $1.66 million at the time) 12 years ago (November 2013), when the price was only $332. He started selling after 11 years of holding the 5,000 BTC (November 2024), and has sold a total of 1,000 BTC (about $102 million) in 8 months, with an average selling price of $102,410. He still holds 4,000 BTC (about $474 million).
