On July 20th, the center of this year's No. 6 typhoon "Weipa" made landfall on the coast of Taishan City, Guangdong Province around 5:50 pm today (20th). When it made landfall, the maximum wind force near the center was 12 (33 meters/second), and the minimum pressure at the center was 975 hPa. After landfall, "Weipa" weakened from typhoon level to severe tropical storm level. At 6 pm, its center was located in Taishan City, Guangdong Province, that is, 21.8 degrees north latitude and 112.6 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind force near the center was 11 (30 meters/second), and the minimum pressure at the center was 980 hPa.
