Hong Kong Financial Development Council Chairperson Hong Pizheng recently presided over the annual report press conference, saying that stablecoins should not be the object of speculation, asset market digitalization is a long game, stablecoin (Stablecoin) should play a stabilizing role, should not be short-sighted, I believe that the current pace of development in Hong Kong is among other financial centers. Hong Pizheng also revealed that stablecoins are one of the links in Hong Kong's financial marekt digitalization, allowing transaction currency intermediaries to tokenize, I believe that the next step will be different asset tokenization, but the development process will take time, and full tokenization will not be done for the time being.
